Chapter One
Russ:
When Kitty and I met, and our ministry launched, I continually told Kitty, “you are far more prophetic than I am.” She found that hard to believe, but I was insistent. “Kitty I never did any of this till you came into my life…” She would simply disagree, but these are the facts. The very first time I met Kitty, she was pastoring a church in Seymour, Missouri. I was the assistant overseer of the denomination that gave her church its charter. It was my job to visit all the congregations under our care, so in that official capacity, I went to preach for Pastor Kitty. During the ministry time, I called her up, and taking her hand, God spoke:
“Kitty the Father shows me you are a ballistic missile for God. Not everyone is going to be happy about what the Father does in your life, but you just keep obeying the Father and let those people experience the woodshed of God for their judgments and criticisms…”
With that final word in the Sunday morning service, I made my exit and didn’t hear from Kitty or know what became of her. Twelve years passed and I saw a newspaper clipping that she was in Branson, Missouri taking care of Hurricane Katrina victims. I called her up and found she needed some help organizing a new ministry. The Father whispered to me that I should make arrangements to help her. When I arrived in Branson, I found Kitty to be the person I remembered. She was full of the Holy Spirit and burning with a passion for Christ. From the very beginning, the Lord melded our hearts together, and in due course, we joined our ministry efforts together, and Father’s Heart Ministry was launched.
Father’s Heart Ministry is a team effort. Kitty and I are a power couple in the kingdom. Most of the time, when we minister, we do so in a tag team way before the people. Our emphasis is on the prophetic and the outpouring of God’s Spirit through a message of love because love never fails. Love makes faith work. Without it you are useless in the kingdom. Who would want to hear a word from a prophet who didn’t move in the love of God? From the very beginning, Kitty had an innate grasp and understanding of what God was doing in our lives as she shares below:
Kitty:
Where did this book’s title “Precisely the Prophetic” come from? One day a former pastor of mine named Tim Snyder at Healing Rivers in Branson, MO, had made a statement in a prophecy that had caught my attention. In a Sunday morning service, he prophesied for around 20 minutes, in which, a portion of that prophetic word said that:
“The revival that is coming will have an element of Pensacola, but it won’t be Pensacola, it will have an element of Toronto, but it will not be Toronto… It will have an element of each of these great moves of God,” Pastor Tim concluded, “but there is an additional element to this move that is coming, and I can’t tell you what it is…” That word placed a question in my heart about the coming move of the Spirit that would radically change my life.
A year later, I was on vacation driving out to California to visit some relatives. As I drove along a stretch of road in the desert, the memory of that prophetic word came up in my spirit. I recalled Pastor Tim’s prophecy about the missing element in the coming outpouring of God. As the miles passed by, I got quiet before the Lord and asked the Father, “what’s the element? What’s the missing element that we are believing for that is going to characterize the coming outpouring of your Spirit? Instantly the Father replied back to me and said, “It is Precisely the Prophetic.”
Russ:
Why would God bring a move of His Spirit with an emphasis on the prophetic? Didn’t Jesus warn us about prophets coming in the last days in opposition to His kingdom? Let’s look at the exact verse:
[Mat 24:11 KJV] 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
Why do you think false prophets will come? If there are false prophets (and indeed there are many), then there must also be true prophets. If there is a counterfeit move of the Spirit, then there must certainly be an authentic move as well. Think about it. If you were running a cash register at the gas station and someone handed you a crisp, pristine $13 bill, would you accept it? No, you wouldn’t because there are no GENUINE $13 bills printed by the US Mint. It’s the same thing regarding the prophetic. The enemy brings false prophets into the earth because there are likewise many genuine, God called, authentic prophets comprising an entire move of the Spirit that we must not ignore
