Mentoring Minute – Speak the Word with Me Over Your Life (with Background Music)

Hi, this is Russ Walden with Father’s Heart Ministry.

Welcome to the podcast.

I’ve been in ministry for over 40 years, and during that time, I’ve often made the statement that if there were only one thing that I could give you that would put you over in life, it would be this. Speaking the word over yourself: internalizing the word, personalizing the Word, declaring, and decreeing the word over yourself on a regular basis, daily, if possible. I have found, as I do, that it causes breakthroughs to come. It causes a shift to come very reliably when I’m speaking the word over myself when I’m saying the word over my circumstances.

Change comes, and shift comes. And God’s no respecter of persons, but he is a respecter of faith. If you do with your faith what others have done with their faith, you’ll get the same results.

So, I invite you to speak the word over yourself as we make these declarations together:

Speaking the Word Over Your Life:

As a dwelling place for the Holy Spirit, I am a part of Christ’s body. The enemy has absolutely no power over me. I conquer evil by doing good. I belong to God and have triumphed over the evil one. The power within me surpasses any force in the world. I will not give in to fear, for You are by my side. Your words and Your spirit bring me comfort and peace. Oppression is far from me, and fear cannot touch me.

1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

No weapon crafted against me will succeed. My righteousness originates from the Lord, and everything I do will flourish, for I am like a deeply rooted tree nourished by flowing streams. I am liberated from the evils of this world because that is God’s plan for me. No harm will come to me, and no illness will approach my home, for the Lord has assigned His angels to protect me.

Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 91:10-11 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

I am a vessel of love, peace, and light in a world filled with darkness and chaos. My purpose is to spread joy and positivity, to bring hope to the lost and guidance to the searching. I am a beacon of hope in a world often filled with despair.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

In times of trouble and uncertainty, I turn to God for strength and guidance. I trust in His plan for me and know that He will never leave me nor forsake me. I am surrounded by His love and grace, and I am filled with peace knowing that He is always with me.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I am called to be a light in the darkness, to spread kindness and compassion wherever I go. I will not be swayed by the negativity and hatred that surrounds me, for I am protected by the armor of God. I am a warrior of light, fighting against the forces of evil with the power of love and faith.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

I am a child of God, loved and cherished beyond measure. I walk in His ways and follow His commandments, knowing that He is always watching over me. I am safe and secure in His arms, and no harm will ever come to me as long as I trust in Him.

John 10:28-29 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

So, I stand firm in my faith, knowing that I am a beloved child of God, protected and guided by His hand. I will continue to spread love and light wherever I go, knowing that I am never alone. The power of God flows through me, and I am a force to be reckoned with in this world. The angels guard me in every step I take, and my path leads to life, not death. I actively live by God’s word and am blessed in my actions. I find joy in what I do because I am a doer of God’s word. I hold up the shield of faith and extinguish every burning arrow the wicked one aims at me.

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Christ has freed me from the curse of the law, so I prohibit any sickness or disease from entering my body. Every disease, germ, and virus that comes into contact with my body is instantly destroyed in Jesus’ name. Every organ and tissue in my body functions perfectly, just as God designed it.

Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

I refuse to allow any malfunction in my body, in Jesus’ name. I am an overcomer, victorious through the blood of Jesus and the power of my testimony. I submit to God, and the devil flees from me because I resist him in Jesus’ name. God’s word is eternally established in heaven, and I declare Your word, Lord, here on earth.

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

My children experience profound peace because they are taught by the Lord. I choose not to overeat and become overweight. I present my body to God as the temple of the Holy Spirit, who resides within me. I do not belong to myself; I was purchased at a great price, so in Jesus’ name, I refuse to overeat.

Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Body, I command you to align with God’s word in Jesus’ name. I subdue the desires of my body and command it to conform to God’s word. Christ has liberated me from the curse of the law, from poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. You have replaced poverty with wealth, sickness with health, and death with eternal life.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

God’s word is true for me. I find joy in the Lord, and He grants me the desires of my heart. I have given generously, and it is given back to me in abundance, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing. People bless me abundantly. The measure I use is the measure I receive.

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I sow generously, so I reap generously. I give cheerfully, and my God has showered me with grace, ensuring I have everything I need to do every good work. There is no lack. My God provides for all my needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. The Lord is my shepherd, and I lack nothing.

2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Jesus became poor so that through His poverty, I might become rich. He came so that I could have life to the fullest. Having received abundant grace and the gift of righteousness, I reign in life through Jesus Christ. Amen. The Lord takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants, and Abraham’s blessings are mine.

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Romans 5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

The Spirit of truth lives in me, teaching me all things and guiding me into all truth. Therefore, I declare that I have complete understanding of every situation and circumstance I encounter, for I possess the wisdom of God. I trust in the Lord with all my heart and do not rely on my own understanding.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

In everything I do, I acknowledge Him, and He directs my path. The Lord will perfect everything that concerns me. I let the word of Christ live in me richly, with all wisdom. I follow the Good Shepherd. I recognize His voice and will not follow the voice of a stranger. Jesus is my wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

John 10:14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

Therefore, I declare that I have the wisdom of God. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. I am a new creation in Christ, His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.

1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Therefore, I have the mind of Christ, and the wisdom of God is formed within me. I shed the old self and put on the new self, which is renewed in knowledge according to the image of my Creator. I receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

1 Corinthians 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

The eyes of my understanding are enlightened; I am not shaped by this world but transformed by the renewing of my mind. My mind is renewed by the word of God. I am growing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to His glorious might.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Colossians 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

I am rescued from the dominion of darkness and brought into the kingdom of His beloved Son. I am born of God and possess world-overcoming faith within me. Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

1 John 5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

The joy of the Lord is my strength. The Lord is the strength of my life. Amen. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guards my heart and mind through Christ Jesus. I focus on things that are good, pure, perfect, lovely, and honorable.

Nehemiah 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

I refuse to let any corrupting talk come out of my mouth, but only what is good for building others up so that it may benefit those who listen. I do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom I am sealed for the day of redemption. I speak the truth of God’s word in love, growing up in every way into the Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

No one can snatch me out of His hand, for I have eternal life. I let the peace of God rule in my heart, refusing to worry about anything. I will not let the word of God depart from my sight, for it is life to me. I have found it to be health and healing to my whole body.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Proverbs 4:20-22 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

God is on my side; God is in me now; who can be against me or prevail against me? He has given me everything I need for life and godliness, so I share in the divine nature. I believe in the signs that will follow me. In Jesus’ name, I cast out demons, I speak in new tongues, and I lay hands on the sick, and they recover.

Romans 8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

2 Peter 1:3-4 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Mark 16:17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Jesus, You gave me the authority to use Your name. What I bind on earth is bound in heaven, and what I loose on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I bind the principalities, powers, and rulers of the darkness of this world.

Matthew 18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I bind and cast down spiritual wickedness in high places, rendering them harmless and ineffective against me, my finances, and my ministry, in Jesus’ name. I am complete in Jesus, who is the head of all principality and power. I am His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that I could walk in them.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created1 by him, and for him:
