Lord, You’ve Got Mail!

Have you received a phone call from hell? Or an e-mail from the pit? Or a text from the devil? King Hezekiah knew what to do when the enemy came against him. The king of Assyria sent a threatening letter to Hezekiah and Hezekiah spread this letter out before the Lord and prayed. Isaiah the prophet responded that Assyrians would be turned back by God’s hand. That night the warring angels went through the host of Assyria and killed over 100,000 of them as they slept in their tents. Sennacherib withdrew and Jerusalem was safe. What is the lesson? When you get bad news – bring it to the Lord. Tell Him “Lord – you’ve got mail!” God will send angel warriors to do the impossible and bring about your deliverance.
