It is the eternal desire of God to see His will enacted on Earth as it is in Heaven. It is a profound truth that victory over the world is found not in human effort or striving, but in receiving and acting upon Heaven’s Revealed Blueprint, stepping out of our own limited understanding and into divine participation with the Almighty’s ongoing plan. What is this blueprint, and where might we find it? The blueprint is found in God’s word and in the leadership of the Holy Spirit in the life of every person of faith.
🕊️ The Kingdom Plan of God for You: Overcoming the World
God possesses an eternal plan and purpose for the Earth, established before creation itself. He is the ultimate originator of all things, having orchestrated every event, providing redemptively for every human failure, and preparing a destiny and a hope for all who would participate with Him. The fundamental call to the believer is to forsake the self-centered methods of the earthly mind and instead learn to walk in the things that God initiates around us, aligning our lives with His Divine Directives. This alignment is the key to a life of spiritual victory.
1 John 5:4 (KJV): For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The term “whatsoever” emphasizes that anything originated or birthed from God—His plans, His purposes, and His Heavenly Works—is inherently victorious. It overcomes the systems, obstacles, and problems of this world. Our hope lies in catching these Supernatural Leadings; when we operate from what is born of God, we inherently overcome the world and all its limitations.
🌎 Leaving Earthly Striving Behind
The natural human tendency, even within the life of faith, is to default to patterns, methods, and traditions that originate from earthly experience or past learning, rather than from a direct word from Heaven. Such traditions, even those developed in Christian settings, are simply earthly leadings and can hinder the power of God. They are rooted in the wisdom of the flesh and the desires of the mind, and relying on them can result in inconsistent, or “accidental,” spiritual fruit, because they are not what is born of God.
Ephesians 2:2-3 (KJV): Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
When believers continue to walk according to the course of this world, they risk living according to their past, using previous experience to try and dictate the present and future. God’s purpose is to make us alive in Christ, freeing us from the bondage of the past. Earthly leadings are motivated by the desires of the flesh and of the mind, but true effectiveness comes only when we move from human-centered programs to God’s Divine Directives.
👑 Created for His Works
Jesus Christ came as an invasionary commander, commissioned by the Father to bring Heaven to Earth and to walk solely in the Supernatural Leadings of Heaven. He provided the ultimate example, testifying: “I don’t say anything but what I hear my Father in heaven say,” and “I don’t do anything but what I see my Father in heaven doing.” Following Christ means stepping into the same commission, eliminating the past and the desires of the human mind as our motivational force, and living from the present divine direction.
Ephesians 2:10 (KJV): For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
This verse clarifies that the believer’s very identity—their workmanship—is rooted in being created for God’s good works. The works were commissioned to the Son, and the Son, through the Great Commission, has commissioned us to continue those works. Our calling isn’t merely to imitate Jesus by guessing what He would do, but to live in such divine communion that He tells us and shows us what to do, enabling us to follow His footsteps by carrying out the Father’s Divine Directives.
👂 Seeing and Hearing the Divine Directives
The Lord’s thoughts and ways are vastly superior to ours; they are as high as the heavens are above the earth. Therefore, doing God’s works requires more than just trying to figure out what He would do; it demands coming into communion with Heaven, attuning our spiritual senses to the Heavenly atmosphere, and discerning the Father’s Revealed Divine Directives. This is the simple yet profound key to performing the works of Christ: doing them the way He did them.
John 5:19 (KJV): Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
Jesus’ power lay in the fact that He walked on Earth seeing into Heaven, catching the Father’s Heavenly Blueprint. His actions, even the seemingly strange ones like mixing mud and spittle for a blind man, were simply obedience to what He saw the Father doing. When we do on Earth what the Father is doing in Heaven, the will of Heaven overcomes the limitations and problems on Earth. This is the essence of faith in this context: hearing God or seeing what God says to do through Supernatural Leadings, and simply doing it.
🌪️ The Whirldwind of Revival: Becoming a Dangerous People
God desires His church to be a force, an outpouring of power into the world, moving with a centrifugal (outward) force rather than a centripetal (inward) one. This powerful, outward movement is likened to a whirlwind—it is untamed, it is uplifting, and it destroys men’s structures of death. These structures of death include the unbalanced, ego-driven pursuit of position and title within the church, which originates from the pattern of the god of this world. God is activating His people to slip free from these old structures and move forward in the pure power of the Spirit by following the Divine Directives of the Kingdom of God.
Acts 17:6 (KJV): And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
The early church, a small group of disciples, impacted the entire Roman civilization precisely because they walked in the power and anointing of Heaven’s Blueprint. They were considered dangerous because they acted upon God’s plan. God is shifting grace away from human methods and onto His methods, activating believers to maturity through the fivefold ministry, not to simply be pew-warming Christians, but to be mighty men and women of God who are attuned to the ten senses—five natural and five spiritual—and ready to walk according to the dictates of His word and the leading of His Holy Spirit.
🙏 Reflection and Review
The greatest victory in the Christian life is found in abandoning our own, limited efforts and fully embracing Heaven’s Blueprint. This is not a complex, ethereal faith reserved for a few, but a simple faith—a “do what you’re told” faith—that comes by hearing and seeing the Divine Directives in the present moment. This faith overcomes all fears, defeats all traditions, and empowers us to do the Heavenly Works, even raising the dead. We must become brave enough to live dangerously in the Spirit, knowing that the results are in God’s hands and that even perceived failures are learning opportunities.
