Covenant Blessings Are Yours In Christ

Testament versus Covenant:

A testament is a person’s will, especially the part relating to personal property. Something that serves as a sign or evidence of a specified fact, or quality. A covenant is usually a formal, solemn and binding agreement to do or not do something.

Understanding what the terms testament and covenant mean helps us understand and reveals God’s purpose and plan in redemption and the only hope for mankind. The New Covenant is considered the Last Will and Testament of Jesus Christ. He has given to us exceeding great and precious promises that through these we would become partakers of His divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

When Adam and Eve gave their authority over the earth to satan in the fall, it hindered Gods entrance into the earth. He had turned it over to His creation who turned it over to His enemy. Throughout the old covenant, God had to find people who would believe Him through outside stimuli that they could see, hear, or experience that let them know God was with them. God made a covenant with Abraham who became the Father of Israel (Jacob) and the Arab (Ishmael) nations but is also the father of our faith. God promised to bless Abraham (and his descendants) as the dust, sand and stars, things they could see, and in Abraham would all nations of the earth be blessed. So the blessing was passed down generationally, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who became Israel, and if we be Christ’s then are we Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise, Gal 3:29.

I Am Blessed with Faithful Abraham Who is the Father of our Faith!

Text PROPHET to 44321 and Sow Your Faith into This Word

Throughout the Old Testament, there were mighty men like Moses, David and many others, who did great things for God – the prophets who God was able to inspire to speak through and angelic visitations or other means to get information of His desire to bless His people. It was a war zone for the angels to get to the people, such as we know with Daniel when Gabriel said, but the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me 21 days; and Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me… Dan 10:13. God did everything He could to reach His beloved creation who was being held captive by His enemy. So, to solve the problem, God did what only He could do. The old covenant required the shedding of blood for the remission of sin. Each family would bring their offerings to the high priest once a year as atonement for sin.

At Jesus’s Last Supper, He took the cup and declared that his death would be the inauguration of this new covenant. The New Covenant was based on better promises because God now was able to come to the earth Himself, as a man, and offer Himself with His own blood, once and for all as an offering for all sin, never requiring another drop of blood to be shed, or mankind to be without answers for their lives. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. He did not come to do away with the old, but to fulfill it.

Now when people come to God by faith through grace and know that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, Heb. 11:6, because of Jesus’s sacrifice and resurrection from the dead, the Holy Spirit now can reside within each and every person alive. If they sincerely ask Him to and desire to understand all that God provided as an escape from the traps set by the devil to keep them from all the blessings He had intended and then died to provide for them.

I Now Recognize the Lengths God has Gone to Just for Me as well as the World!

Text PROPHET to 44321 and Sow Your Faith into This Word

If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life, please open your heart to Him today and ask Him to come in. He loves you and is not going to force Himself on you but He hears the gentlest of cries that come from your heart to the deepest pain and sorrow that you may be bearing. He loves you so much and will help you with whatever you are going through. He is so faithful and true and will never leave you nor forsake you. So just call on Him today by saying this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, I recognize now, all that You have done for me and that You love me. I receive Your love and ask You to forgive me of my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and have Your way in me and be the Lord of my life. Holy Spirit, you are welcome in my life. I thank you for helping me know You better and to become all that I was created to be. Thank you for revealing Yourself to me and helping me to live my life according to Your will and ways. I love You and thank You Lord, in Jesus Name.

(If you have just received Jesus into your heart for the first time, we would like to send you a pocket New Testament Bible, please send your name and address to request your copy to: georgette.thmpsn@gmail.com).

The Father says today, My eyes are roaming to and fro throughout all the earth to find that one whose heart is perfect and devoted to Me. For it is then that I Am able to show Myself strong on their behalf. All it takes is a little faith to do great things. Man is limited in his own ability, however, I am unlimited in My supply, willingness, and ability to help you do whatever it is you set your mind and hand to. Know that the blessing is upon you to be a blessing to others. It is not intended to consume upon selfish desires.

Withholding more than is fitting causes problems you can avoid by simply being a generous and loving person. When you walk in this manner, you will always have more than enough because you are about My business blessing others, while I take care of blessing you. My desire is simply to love you, to bless you, and to do good to you all the days of your life. All I need is a Yes. My covenant will I not break nor alter the thing spoken from my lips. You are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away and now all things have become new in your life from this moment forward.

I Receive You Jesus, Holy Spirit have Your Way in Me!
