Healing Reality 21: In Isaiah, it is clear that Jesus carried not only our sin but also our sickness. The same stroke that fell on Jesus on the Cross to save us from sin also protects us from illness and disease: Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows:yet we did […]

Healing Reality 20: God promises protection for our bodies as well as for our spirits if we live in Him. In the New Testament, John wishes above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers: 3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper […]

Healing Reality 19: The Old Testament Saints looked forward to healing; as New Testament believers, we look back on our healing as a past provision. Note the two following passages: Isa. 53:5 “by whose stripes we ARE healed… 1Peter 2:24 “…by whose stripes we WERE healed…” What that means is that YOUR healing is an […]

Healing Reality 18: Your healing and recovery from all pain and injury are very personal to Jesus: 1 Peter 2:24 [Jesus] personally carried our sins in His body on the cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and […]

That word perish doesn’t just mean eternity in […]

Healing Reality 15: Nothing stands in the way of your healing! 1 Corinthians 1:30 Jesus, who is made unto us righteousness, and redemption: What this means is that nothing disqualifies you for healing because Jesus (who He is) is your “righteousness,” i.e. the basis on which God determines your eligibility for your miracle! That’s good […]

Healing Reality 14: Focus on the Remedy! In today’s verse, the encouragement is don’t focus on symptoms more than you look to Jesus for the remedy: 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins … by whose stripes ye were healed. Just as we endure the suffering, Jesus bears the price to alleviate […]

Healing Reality 13: You don’t need to beg for your healing: John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. To receive healing, all Jesus said is to ASK. That word describes a simple request, not groveling or pleading. The work of the […]
