Breaking the Cycle: Why You Don’t Have to Wait for a “Ship to Come In”

Are you crying out to the Father for a financial breakthrough? Are you being brutally crushed under the weight of financial burdens?

Many today are waiting—waiting for an inheritance, the lottery, or waiting for some “magic moment” to finally break loose and be blessed financially. But here is the truth the Father wants you to hear today: You don’t have to wait for “your ship to come in” to see the breakthrough you long for. You don’t have to wait for some unlikely thing to take place to provoke the dynamic of blessing that brings the kiss of heaven to your pocketbook.

A Word from the Father’s Heart

Recently, a sister wrote to our ministry asking for prayer regarding her finances. As we took this to the Lord, the Father spoke clearly. He is ready to release a word that has already brought breakthrough to many.

Here is what the Father says to you at this time:

“I am the God who is more than enough. I’ve seen the deficits in your life. I’ve counted your pennies more times than you have. I’ve taken notice of every act of belt-tightening and frugality.

Money is no challenge to My ability. Financial problems do not possess some unique resistance to My power. ‘Ask,’ ‘Seek,’ and ‘Knock.’ I will act on your behalf just as I brought supernatural provision to My people in the wilderness. I suffered lack during My earth walk so that you might receive provisioning by My hand. Are you ready for change?”

Where Will the Money Come From?

I have asked the Father in the past, “Where is all the money going to come from?” His answer was simple: “From wherever it is at the time.” When I asked, “Where is it?” He replied, “Right where you need it.”

He spoke this to me three different times, and each time, He supernaturally brought thousands of dollars into my life. This isn’t just “cute” spiritual talk; I built a business from the dust following the guidance of the Holy Spirit along these exact lines.

Activating the Flow: Participation, Not Observation

The Spirit says, “Money is like blood… it must flow.” Sitting back and waiting for a windfall is a fantasy because the Kingdom of God does not come with observation—it comes through participation. To turn your trickle of finances into a river, you must give the Spirit of God control of your goods.

If you want to break the “black hole” of poverty that takes in more than it sends out, you must take these two steps:

1. Identify and Liquidate Your Surplus: You have one. Find it and get rid of it by God’s instruction. Give it away or sell it.

2. Give Out of Your Penury: You have to break the cycle of lack. When you are financially stressed, this is hard counsel to receive, but breakthrough requires a “chaos decision.” Give until it requires real trust. This breaks the sucking vacuum of poverty.

What is True Prosperity?

Prosperity is simply having enough to do the Father’s will and enough to help someone else do His will.

It is misleading to think, “When my ship comes in, I will finally support the Gospel.” If you aren’t doing it now with your limited resources, you won’t do it then. Only what you do now brings the blessing of God.

The Bottom Line: Get before God. If you are ordained to be a provisioner of the Kingdom, you will find the answers by starting exactly where you are. When you hear and obey, increase is inevitable.
