When you are crushed and when your spirit is quenched I will draw near to you says the Father. Others may hold themselves aloof from you but I am near to you in those hurtful moments. I am never at a loss at what to say or how to comfort you. The Comforter is who I am not just what I do. When the words of the enemy sting and bite at you I pour in the balm of My Spirit to cleanse the wound and console you with the fresh wind of My Spirit.
The enemy wants to render you into a broken and dry husk of bitterness. Receive the moistening of My Spirit. Stay pliable in My hands. Relinquish the ache of your heart and come near to Me in these times. I am the God of all comfort says the Father. I am He that sustains and consoles you in every circumstance and situation. My promises are sure. My guidance is infallible.
Seek My face this day and know that surely – SURELY you will see My hand at work both to deliver and to save. Be assured this day says the Father. Be assured and reassured that I am with you and working in the midst of the chaos of the moment to bring you to safety in Me.
