The Father says today, run to Me for I am your place of refuge. When you feel there is no escape and problems plague you on all sides, I am the strong tower to keep you safe from harm. My first response toward those that call upon My name is loving kindness and mercy. I am not holding out on you or looking for a reason to deny you the very cry of your heart. You are My temple and the place of My habitation. There in the midst of you will My mercies be made known, and you will be the beneficiary of My affection and loving care. I have surrounded you with fortifications of salvation and pillars of strength before and behind you on every side. You are not defenseless. The enemy will not break through against you at his will no matter what problems rage around you. Expect salvation to be your portion. Focus on the power of My promise and not the looming issues that seem so unsolvable.
Remember Job. He went through many things that he didn’t understand. Those who loved him best told him to curse God and die. His friends and counselors could offer nothing but suggestions as to why they were convinced Job must have done something wrong. You have asked that question, “what have I done wrong?” Yet Job, regardless of great loss never charged Me foolishly. Will you do any differently? Come to the place of peace. My peace is the peace that passes understanding. My peace will take you where understanding can never go. You don’t need answers, you need deliverance, and I am your Deliverer. I will move, and I will act on your behalf and looking back you will say “My God does all things well!”
