The Father Says Today: February 8th, 2021

The Father says today, it is a new season and a new day you are walking into. You have crossed the threshold into a period of innovation and reinvention in your life. The wineskin of yesterday’s thinking is dried up and shriveled. What nurtured you of My freshness in days past now yields nothing more than the dregs of nostalgia for what was and never will be again. Refuse to waste your energy on that which is passing away. The old understandings and ways of doing things will not serve you in the territory you are passing through, neither in the place of promise I will establish you in. It may have been manna on the ground every morning in the past, but now you will eat your bread in the land of conquest. It may have been water from the rock when you were thirsting in the past, but directly I will lead you to the springs of Shiloh that go softly.

Destiny awaits, says God. I am writing a whole new chapter in your life. I am lightening your load and shifting your emphasis because you aren’t going to be able to go where I’m taking you with your life the way it is. Hold everything loosely. Be willing to exchange the familiar for those things, relationships, and directions of assignment that frankly will intimidate you at times, but all you have to do is maintain your trust in Me. You asked Me for some things, and I answered you in a form you didn’t expect. Nonetheless, My word is sure, and never forget I am walking with you every step of the way.
