dpw-150The Father says today you are a sojourner. You are a sojourner and a traveler in this life so learn to pack lightly. You don’t have to drag with you all the things of the past as though provision does not lay ahead for every need. Hold everything loosely. Be prepared to release past relationships and friendships that simply aren’t a part of where I am taking you now. Many times relationships and friendships are strained not because there is a real problem but because I am taking you on. I am moving you on – so do so with grace even as Abraham and Lot in the midst of a disagreement fell on each others neck and wept with love and compassion. They knew it was time for a change and I want you to know it now. It is time to move on.
Time to seek out the next assignment that I have laid up in store for you.

As you gather yourself for what comes next there will be a season of wilderness journeying. It is necessary that unbelief and lack of discipline might die off. There are habits and opinions that will not serve you where I am leading so be prepared to graciously and obediently let some things drop off. Others may do those things but you cannot. You have asked for the high country in My Spirit and that requires configuring your life according to another dynamic. It is different living for Me at that elevation but aren’t you ready to leave the plains of Sodom for the depths of relationship with Me? Then come the Father says. I beckon you. Up and let us be going for the hour is late and the adventure is at hand.
