I am feeding you of the bread of heaven says the Father. I am tending you as a shepherd for I am the pastor of your soul. You are the focus of My attention this day. You are not alone nor are you isolated though it may seem that way at times. I have placed you in the flock and I will bring you into fellowship and relationship with those that are in your “sheep fold”.
The Flock of God is more than a weekly gathering or a congregational meeting. I have set you in a tribe and I will help you find your place in that tribe says the Father. Did I not say in My word that it is not good to be alone? Though there are seasons when you walk in solitary places I will set you in a circle, in a spiritual family. It is more than a building and more than an earthly organization. It is a house of bread where you will find the manna – the revelation of Myself that won’t come across a pulpit but rather as revelation of who I am in the lives of those peculiar people that I have surrounded you with.
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me. I am more than a history lesson and more than a set of values or moral guidelines. I am bringing you into relationship with the Living Jesus and you will see Me in yourself and also reflected in the lives of others. I won’t bear much resemblance to the God of Religious Tradition. That will be an education for you at times and a pleasant surprise. You will often say “I thought that’s what you were like but I wasn’t sure till now …”
Your experience in Me is a never ending ever deepening revelation says the Father. So embrace the process and purpose to remain a learner at all times. Never say to yourself “I have arrived there is little more for Me to learn”. For I have purposed to fill you with Myself in new and interesting ways. This day you will begin to experience this as you remain open in your heart to who I really am within you and around you.
