Today: [Leviticus Chapter Fourteen] Set Free by the Death of Christ! In Leviticus 14 God instructs Moses in the ceremony of cleansing for lepers and also for what was called “leprous houses”. The priestly rite involved two birds, one sacrificed and the other set free. This is a powerful and plain evocation of Jesus dying in our behalf that we might be cleansed from the contamination of sin (spiritual leprosy) and go free in Christ.
